    Hey gang

Just installed the Avid Bolt on Sliders. Really happy with the whole setup. Ordered them after doing quite a bit of research. Im not really wheeling at this point, just wanted something to throw on there for a little additional protection. I sent a few emails before hand and spoke with Brandon, he's a chill guy. Very prompt with replies. He also informed me of the fact that these are not real sliders, but can be converted to weld ons if needed down the road. Ordered them bare, so that I could Line-x them locally. When they arrived I did a test fit. Bolted on perfectly to the factory running board. For installation I used a floor jack centered, with two jack stands on either side. Worked great. After that went and got them Line-x'd for $150. Pumped on the final results. Thats about it! Heres some pics of the test fit, and after being Line-X'd

Looks great. You probably know but don't use these as sliders. They are steps styled like sliders. If you use them as a pivot point, your running boards could have more damage than if they weren't there.

Definitely gonna Linex my sliders when I get them. Looks great.

    Looks good OP!

But, Matt is correct. Those are not meant to be an actual, true to the word, slider. I had my avid bolt ons converted to weld on. Might be something to consider if you plan on landing the truck on a rock.
