    Hey TW,

Picked up my first Tacoma last friday. First truck I'd been searching for a while to get the right Tacoma at the right price, and did I ever find the right one for me.

    2005, v6, sr5, standard and 4x4, it's like a dream come true!

    Mostly stock, double

upgraded from my 03 echo (named Lucy) which served me strong all the way through university (while up to the ski hill 3-5 days a week), but she was fighting a losing battle with rust. Canadian winters were hard on her.

So I got the Tacoma to make for an easier drive to the ski hill for powder days, the ones that the echo had trouble or couldn't make it up to. I'm thinking of naming her Lexi. Thoughts?

Lucy (03 Echo) and her new sister... Lexi? (05 Tacoma)

She's nothing crazy, but she's my kind of beautiful

So my question to you (and no I haven't searched yet, tsk tsk me!):

What do you have in your Tacoma?

In the echo, I always had a jug of oil, wire hangar (muffler was pretty rusty... just in case), cheap variety tool set, booster cables, portable air compressor, a gorilla suit, flashlight, traction aids and snow shovel (for winter), and a dolphin hand puppet.

So far I can only think of adding a tow strap or two and some ratchet straps. What else can you think of adding, or might have for "everyday" purposes?

Looking forward to many great chats and forum browsings!

Also, quick kudos to my flashlight, called a larry light, best flashlight I've ever had. 8 LEDs, magnetic swivel clip, runs on 3 AAA batteries. I've done lots of engine work by it's light only, skied at night down unlit trails, which it could light up with no issues.

and only $15 cdn at the local military store. Best thing I've got to keep in a vehicle.
