Howz it going everyone, I have a 2014 taco and I'm torn between three different rims that I'm going to be purchasing very soon, first are the method NV's, second are the method double standards and last but not least are the pro comp flat black, what are your thoughts.

Buy one for each wheel and make the fourth one a TRD SEMA 17". Be unique. Done.

Is this a trick question cause they all look the same to me... But if I have to pick one it would be the pro Comp

I just ordered Method NV's for my Taco. :) Spent hours looking at rims online. Photos on Tacomas. Prices. Factory websites. Blah blah blah.

Ordered from 4WheelParts.com. Been 4 business days since I ordered and they haven't shipped yet though! :angrygirl:

Method NV and Method Double Standard are fairly similar. Though the NV is more expensive.

The ProComps look very similar but are typically much cheaper. :)

Ya those NV's tho are nice, the only thing that I like on the double standards that I wish the nv's had is a smaller center cap, that's my only gripe @Kyitty, what size did you order for your taco and what size tire are you gunna run?

Bought 265/70/16 Michelin's six months ago. So I'm sticking to the 16x8 NVs. Had no idea back then I'd have done any of the mods I've done so far. Nor that I'd be buying rims.

I really like NV'S . My dilemma is getting vibrations from them being they are not hub centric. Center bore is 108 from what I'm reading. Anyone running these rims chime in and let us know if you are getting any vibs and what you did to avoid them if any ?

If mine ever ship I can provide feedback when mine get installed.

I believe I saw the NV's are 108mm and the Tacoma is 106mm. Hopefully that 2mm doesn't make much difference.

Yeah its that 2mm. difference that worry's me . From everything that I have reed Toyotas are very picky and the hub centric is crustal . Yeah pick us posted .

We'll see! Most of the vibration issues over read about have been with OEM Toyota wheels not being road force balanced.

    *fingers crossed*

Go with the Method wheels. I've got the Method standards on mine and they're great. Just get the gorilla lug nuts that center the wheel on the hub as Method wheels are not hub centric. Also tighten them by by hand with a wrench not an impact and torque them to the proper specs.
