Some of you may have read the post last year where I was having the problem with the URD calibrators, well I removed them and have gone with the aem tuner. I have just started playing with it and tuning. The first thing is it is very hard to start after warm, almost like timing is off. Changing values in the fuel map makes no difference, nor does timing. If I reduce map voltage at the starting areas of the map it does help, but not cure it. The truck starts perfectly without the aem, so I know it is an adjustment. I have the boomslang plug and play harness. Does anyone know if anything else is needed to be done to make the FIC work with the Tacoma? Like on the older tacos with resistors???
    Thanks!!
    Steve

Update.... the problem is not related to the fic. I disconnected it and sure enough it will not start after warming up. I didn't let the motor warm up when I disconnected it the first time, just cold started it and assumed it was the fic because it started right away. So, I have to start looking at the toyota components now. Anyone seen something like this?? Runs great once its running but will crank forever before it starts once its warm.
    Thanks!!

Leaky injector(s), fuel pump going out, failed fuel pressure regulator, maybe a clogged fuel filter. Also try cleaning MAF and throttle body/IAC valve.
