    Call me lazy but no way in hell I was going to take my fenders off to cut them (props to you). I was having so much fun cutting that I forgot to leave any tabs to be folded in.

    Oh, I already had them off because I was cutting/welding the pinchweld and I kept them off so that I could build brush guards.

    Ah, got it. Nice. I remembered I wanted to leave some tabs after everything was cut and completed. Doh. The only reason I regret not leaving any tabs is because it looks like that would be an easy way to attach some kind of fender liner.

    I plan on running an ABS type material as a fender liner from the brush guard into the wheel well and leave a little extra at the bottom. That way it will act like a fender flare and the lower section will be a mud flap. This is all theoretical though, we will see how it actually turns out.

    I mentioned this to you at the ToyTec open house a little while ago...

    Any ideas for something like this for plastic edges/ flares? I bought your trim for metal and run it on all of my cut metal fenders, it's amazing stuff. But I want to find something good for the edge of the bushwackers

    Digging around I stumbled across this stuff by 'Trim Lok' can't seem to find it for sale anywhere other than their website and they only sell spools of 125 feet. Wondering if they'd send me a sample to test out, mostly curious about how rigid the flap is and if it would work to cover up the flare gap. It would be slick killing two birds with one stone.

    I can't remember how many feet are on the spool he would have to buy but I think 10-15 buyers would be good enough to get him to get the spool for you?

    Either way, it's an option if there's enough interest.

    Hell yeah, they just look proper on the 2nd gens. My next tire will be of the 37 flavor. 36s fit without too much effort, i could use the extra inch :p

    Good to know about the thickness, there's lots of trim options out there. The link I posted is the only trim I've seen with an extra flap to help keep crud out of the extra cavity. I considered putting in the work that some of you have done with plastic welding the cutout flare pieces but this edge trim could simulate a similar look. Just looking for options at this point and unsure if there's other similar products that anyone is aware of.
