As far as I know the bezel thats around the 12+ HU's are smaller... so there'd be a small gap around the HU and the rest of your dash, they mount the same way though.
I'm not 100% on that so do some research. I know theres tons of threads on guys retro-ing a 12+ HU into a 05-11 Taco.
