I'm getting ready to do my valve cover gasket so it stops leaking. When looking at Intake Manifold Gaskets to get, I'm not sure what I need.

This listing has four gaskets and while I understand what the lower ones (Six circles) do I am confused as to what the top two are for.

This listing just has the two.

What am I not picking up on here? Wouldn't those two gaskets be for the top and bottom of the manifold?

    Thanks

The plenum has 2 gaskets. It comes apart at the bend. You don't have to take off the intake in order to change the valve cover gaskets. You would only have to do so for a head gasket repair. Intake and plenum are different things.

A side note before you pull everything apart sometimes the valve cover bolts just loosen up. Mine was leaking and I could turn them by hand, tightened them up and it stopped.

yep, there is an upper and lower manifold section that come apart from each other.

you may as well take it all apart and clean up the intake manifolds and throttle body real good and replaced all the gaskets while you are that far into it.
