Hi all, I'm new to TW and have a few questions I hope someone can answer or direct me in right direction.
    I have a 2004 3.4L V6 Taco Dbl cab w TRD... aka TERA
So far not much mods done except a K&N Cold air intake system, a set of Hype white PIAA fogs, clear corners all around with whited out bulbs...
Mainly cosmetic... I now want to do more Performance mods...

    1. I wanted to change the steering wheel to a racing wheel. Where would you recommend getting this? Also how do I change the steering wheel if it has a cruise control lever attached.
    2. I want to alter the suspension and handling. I want to upgrade to a front and rear "anti-sway or roll bar". What brand would you recommend and also directions to install.
    3. As for engine performance, what or how can I mod my Tera to gain more power/speed? Would you recommend changing the chip, change spark plugs/wires, etc?

I know it's a lot to ask on my very first post, but just want to fix up my TERA's performance.

    Thanks again
    J

Don't recommend swapping the steering wheel. There is nothing to gain, an you will have to sacrifice the CC and air-bag protection.

The front of your truck already has an anti-sway bar, but none for the rear. You may be able to swap over a rear unit from a 2004 4runner. It would likely require some fabrication (welding, drilling, tapping, etc.)

Not much you can do for performance, other than install a TRD super-charger ($$$$)

Best thing to do now, is start separate threads for each mod you want to do, if you are not sure.

    Good luck.

Thank you tan4x4... taking everything you said into my future changes to my Tera...

KyleNowad, as for my goals for the truck... I want to make Tera fast... I know she is an "off-roading" truck but are there things I can do to make her faster? I also want to improve her handling...
I'm not a fan of lifting so none of that...
    Thank you again.

Thank you again @KyleNowad ... one last question for the weekend...
I have alot, I mean A LOT of dirt and buildup under the hood and on engine block. Is it safe to pressure wash under the hood? If no, what is the most effective and safest way to wash away the dirt and buildup without causing harm or damage to electrical components and/or engine??

    Thanks again...
