Hello I have a 1989 toyota extended cab 4x4 v6. It has headers on it already. What gears do I need to run 35" tires on 17" rims not to strain the motor. But sill want to have plenty of power but not kill me on the fuel end. Thanks any help would be appreciated.

If you have a manual trans and Toyota axles, 5.29's for 35's... if you have an auto trans, that size tire will shoot your hopes down.
As for 37's, I'd stay away from them if your truck is a DD.

    Hope this helps you.
