Pricing and dealer questions....

I have been looking at the 2016 Tacoma on this website for a while and have test drove one SR5. I am close to Houston so I am in GST's area..

I have been shopping dealers and trying to get some prices together. I am looking for a SR5 DCSB V6 2wd with tow.

My credit union shows the following when I price out a 7146 with TO and FE



I have received quotes that were just $200-$300 off of MSRP.

Today I received a quote for $29,025 + TTL for a similar truck (different interior color) with floor mats being the only option I don't want. After we went back and forth with email he sent me the following:



See how my invoice price is different than theirs.....

So, what is TMF?
What is Financial Reserve MSRP?
Why are they wanting me to pay for holdback? I thought that is what the dealer got back from Toyota...

 

I would offer $28,100 plus tax, That's about $500 over Invoice. Many are getting that now.

 

Thanks for the reply... that is what I have been shooting for.. Trying to get out the door for right around $30k (6.25% sales tax)

 

You should leave GST if you want a deal. Their starting prices are higher than anywhere else
