I have a 2010 TRD sport with the older back-up camera system (tiny back-up view on the rear review mirror). I am envious of the newer system (larger screen on the dash console). Has anybody tried changing out the old console and putting in the new one? Is it even reasonably possible to do so?

Thanks in advance for any help or helpful suggestions.

Many newer aftermarket head units in the $300 range, that have a touch screen will have an output for a rear camera.
