hi, this is my first post, hope someone can help me.

    I bought a 2006 sr5 Tacoma DC 4x4 one week ago.

I managed to get hold of some parts that are coming off a 2009 DC that is being striped out for racing, so I can get the oem rear camera with the rear view mirror.
Also (and the post is meant for this) I'm getting the dash or console piece that goes under the climate controls and in front of the shift lever, and this comes with the OEM aux.

My question is if I'm going to be able to use the OEM aux on my older 2006 OEM radio?

    Thanks in advance.

I used a iSimple gateway to use with a Iphone/ipod which also has a separate aux connector before I went with the Nav unit.
There are other brands out there too.
As far as hard wiring the aux, I read a few threads in the past that run a cable from the connector on the radio with a resistor to a jack.
If I find it, I'll add it.

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
It'll only work if your radio has an AUX button. In my 05, I got a radio from a 2009 cheap from craigslist to get aux control.
