I don't remember. I will look it up in the morning. Calculus kids are testing all morning so I'll have some time.

Santa Monica told me they had one. I got mad at the guy when he first told me they had one because I knew they didn't. He responded kindly and said they did actually have one. I asked him when was a good time to come see it. He replied back that they didn't have one.

That's probably the best deal I have heard of that's the closest to me. Greg is a pretty far drive for me so might have to email Frank toyota. Thanks for the info.

I have heard of Frank Toyota. They didn't come in my closest 50 dealerships. I will email them now.

I am guessing you ordered from them?

I just emailed them. We'll see what they say

Frank says they will still give me the discount

Yes, we were offering that in past months but with the high demand we had to change the discount. However, I will honor that price for you. I do have to let you know 4x4 Tacomas are about a 3-4 month wait. Is that something you would be willing to wait for?

The 250 over invoice deal with Greg is 18 to 20 weeks. This is only for 7568 model, a very rare build in california that is being bought the minute a dealer is allocated one

I'm looking for a 7542 in Barcelona red. All I hear from dealrships is they don't ever order red trucks and I would have to place order. Problem is they never give me an estimate on how long the wait would be.

Just had a dealer around here tell me they have a 7568 "on the port" with my specs. We are calling them right now.

Will let you know what they say. I doubt it, though. They are probably lying or don't know what they are talking about.

So..... We couldn't meet with Anjelica or Angelica so a lady helped us. She was rude to my wife so a sales manager came over. He tried to ask me questions about numbers to get me thrown off and I quoted every

Ok. So. Pasadena said no more 500 over invoice. They thought I didn't know what I was talking about and asked me for numbers thinking I was bsing them. Gave them exact numbers and they realized I knew what I was talking about. They said no and we left.

We got a call from another dealer who said a sister lot a ways off has 7568 in white. We drove a 4x4 DCLB Sport to feel out heavy truck. Now sitting down to talk

So, to start off, I spoke with Hamer Toyota a couple days ago to ask about their 7568. They had already sold it.

Last night I get an email from Culver City Toyota saying they had a 7568 at a sister dealership. We drove down. Test drove a 4x4 DCLB Sport to size and weight reference. Salesman was very nice. We sat down, he said they would be doing a trade of that for the 7568. He puts in all the info and then brings back a pricing sheet. They want 44,000 dollars for the truck. I give the salesman my price with a break down. He is still very nice and takes my price to the manager. Manager comes back and my wife gets into it with him about the price. She starts asking where this 7568 is. He says it's at a sister lot, they will drive it down in the next day if we buy it. She starts pressuring him to tell us WHICH DEALERSHIP HAS THIS TRUCK??? He stalls and tries to talk about demand pricing. We ask how far away the dealership is that has the truck. The salesman is still being very nice.... The manager finally caves and says the truck is at Hamer Toyota. SON OF A BITCH. We tell him that truck was already sold. The salesman goes wide eyed and the manager gets up and goes back to his desk. The salesman is still being very nice, chatting with us about the truck and whatnot. Manager comes back and says Hamer did sell the truck a few days ago.... Then says he has one coming three weeks into November, which he will sell to us for 3000 over MSRP. By this point, we don't give an eff and I offer 3000 under MSRP adding that it won't have to sit on the lot, we will bring a cashiers check and leave. He starts again with "I can sell to anyone for 5000 over msrp and blah blah. 4

We thanked the salesman for his time and for being so nice during the whole process. I felt bad for this guy after they dumped this impossible deal on him. The manager gave us 10 dollars for parking on our way out. ehh

Is this truck a fucking game to these dealers? I wonder what they would have done if we agreed to 45000 dollars and then they found out from Hamer that the truck wasn't available ??

I am going to start emailing back all the dealers who offered to order for me. Ask them for their wait time and give them my price. We'll see

I am a teacher and one thing I always get commended on during observations is my patience. I can and will wait for the price to come down. Even if we pass my 60 day finance limit, I don't care. The credit union lady already said they would finance me again as long as I didn't go BK during that time period.

I got an offer of 32150 for a 7568 but I don't think the guy understood what I wanted. He sent pics of a short bed after he gave that price. I am contacting him back now.
The base msrp is 34340 so that's a good offer if it's legit

Pasadena is no longer doing that $500 over invoice deal which sucks. Guess I'm still on the hunt for one. :(

I am getting the impression, those of us who ordered before trucks hit the lots got deals close to Invoice, Once the trucks hit the ground and dealers began selling them off the truck those Invoice Plus deals went away and are only valid for those who want to wait a could months like we did.

If people are paying $3000 over MSRP for a Tacoma , they are feeding into the "na na I got mine" syndrome. They want to be the new kid on the black with a 16.

Well that doesn't last long nor will the 16 Tacoma remain in bubble territory forever. Some dealers in the "poor" SE are selling at Invoice plus and have stock sitting. I would have walked any MSRP deal myself.

You my friend have a lot of patience. You should be buying stock.

I have been noticing that, too. Pasadena ordered for a guy at 500 over invoice plus 600 TDA and they won't do that deal anymore. We went in there last-last weekend and they gave us a hard time about it. The sales manager tried to catch me mixing up my numbers but he always came back with the same numbers I was giving him. They weren't too happy that Anjelica and the other sales manager ok'ed a deal for 500 over.

I know of a few dealers offereing 500 under msrp and 2000 over invoice, but that's not a deal for me. We weren't in the boat to purchase a truck in August when people were ordering them before they came out. We were just getting married and had other things to pay off before we could look at buying a truck. Greg is still offering 250 over invoice in Merced but that's a 20 week wait time. I think we will have found a truck by 20 weeks from now. We'll see, though. I have an email filter full of dealers who want to sell me trucks; we just need to find who can get what I want for the price I want to pay them.

Toyota did not anticipate so many people wanting DCLB Off Road 4x4s, especially in our socal region.

I don't do stocks. I don't like risking my money.

Haa no risk, no reward and the last five years has been all reward.. I can easily do better than my 1.5% PenFed loan in the next 30 months. Long or short

$2000 over Invoice is one zero too many.

Greg knows in 20 Weeks they will be selling at Invoice plus off their lot. He is not doing you any favors waiting 20 Weeks. By January supply will have caught up with demand and I would bet deals can be made on in stock between Christmas and New Years.
