Finally gonna play in this thread! Got a commander 1000 xt about 5 weeks ago and love it! Added sliders, half windshield, and roof. Dealer has my headlight guards in and I'm picking them up when I take it in Friday for the 10 hour service. Next is doors and a stereo.

Looking for a sporty 4x4 ATV, thoughts?
I have a suzuki z400 and love it, but since I've moved to Miss. I need something with better mud capability and ground clearance.

A classmate has a '15 polaris scrambler that he's selling for a can-am and he said if I take over the payments it's mine (9,800 owed).
Gonna go ride it tomorrow after class and see how I like it, but if y'all have suggestions or input i'd love to hear it.
Most of the complaints about the 850 scrambler i've read have been drive belts or A-arms snapping.

I picked up this 2015 Can Am Oulander 650 XT a couple of months ago. So far so good...plenty of power, lockers pull it through everything I throw at it, and it rides like a Caddy.

Anybody know what a fair price for a great condition 2014 Honda TRX ER would be? Needed a new battery but that's all. I went to a harley dealer that had the atv and they wanted 6k for it. I got them down to 5 but with the sales tax and bs "admin" fees it added up to around 5,300. I walked, but I'm hoping for a call later.

Test rode the polaris scrambler this evening, I liked it but It doesn't have the same thrill that my z400 has.

I think i'm gonna look into getting a 4x4 (Semi sporty) UTV for the utility side and keeping my z400 for the sporty part.

Thoughts on a 4x4 UTV, (2 door) with a bed, and at least a 750?

I believe you can get a 2 door Polaris Ranger in a 900.

Yep, looking at those and the ranger 6x6 caught my eye.
Thinking about just keeping my Z400 for sport and getting the 6x6 for farm use, I just wish it came with a diesel to compliment the 1 ton tow capacity.

I'll have to test drive both and see what I can get for a deal.

Check out Kubota too. They have a side by side lineup with diesels

Looked at them but they're slow, ride rough, and have a hydrostatic transmission.
I just don't like hydrostatic transmissions because of the noise and how pitiful they feel, but I do like that it doesn't have a drive belt.

So far it's either the JD 855D or polaris ranger Diesel, I'm leaning more towards the JD as of right now, but I need to find out if the ranger diesel has the same electronics issues that the gassers have.
