I really wish they had remote start as an option. I hate carrying around a second fob..

Mine is traditional key. But I kno Toyotas that have push to start with remote start. But no word yet on the new tacomas. I feel like trucks are designed more generic so the I don't think it would be an issue.

I have a push to start with remote start. I had my auto broker have her guy do it. It's an AutoMate. Small little fob the size of a quarter. Works great. Only thing that bums me out is the truck shuts off after opening the door. Installer said it is very common on push to start vehicles as a built in safety feature.

I thought that was only a Toyota thing. I would hate that so much.

No setting per the installer. I started doing my own research online and found its very common across many different makes and models.
