the Tundra is as advertised. 13 city 17 hyw 15 mixed. It is right on the button with these. Compared to other gas v8 full sized trucks it is about 3 mpg different. Even the f150 ecoboost is only going to average about 18.5. So not much different really. I chose the tundra over these gas models because to me it looked better liked the interior better and back seat and font seat room. Plus the interior to me in more simple and clean. Plus no rattles. Again if I needed the bigger truck and was going to be gas id get another Tundra over all them. 3 mpg isn't enough difference to me. That said again id go look at the Ecodiesel ram and to me it offers by far the most for your money and ride in full size. If gas it still rides better and will also get about 17 average. Post earlier made commit about parking in Portland. Tundra is a big foot print but it is easy to drive and drives smaller than its size. But garage space or parking or in between narrow roads it is a beast. I am looking to go smaller because just don't need the bigger truck and I think I am going to get the new g3 Tacoma. I think all the trucks in my opinion are good trucks no matter the brand. Pick the one you like.

I have 3 kids.....8,12,13 all of them fit just fine in the back and are close enough to slap the shit out of them when they act up.(joking) As far as the car seats. Kids grow out of them fast. If you like a Tacoma keep it. Kids don't have to have everything there way. Your little girl will learn not to kick the seat.
Now if your using them as an excuse to get a full size truck I understand. Bottom line get what makes you smile everytime you look at your ride. Everyone else including all of us mean nothing.

Haha very true. I like the Tacoma I feel like it's never going to let me down. And the resale is the best across all vehicles. Thinking i may keep it let the kids deal with the backseat. Haha. Thanks again.

I just sold my 2013 tacoma trd sport 6 speed for a 15 f150 platinum I miss driving manual but i will get used to it soon. It has every option you could imagine even massage seats up front love it so far the back seat is huge and the truck moves with the v6 eco boost
