^ what Ryan said. They're 10" got them instead of clickers b/ they weren't that much more. MCM Fab hooked me up.

Well if you get the Total Chaos shock relocate then you can put the 2.5"x10" shock outboard like the 2nd gens. You just need the 1.25" spacers. Maybe I will talk to MCM. Brian at ADS must be really busy because it is hard to keep his attention :D

They should be able to design a 10"x2.5" with the piggyback and bypass. Possibly a clicker on the piggyback. I will go with a single or double bypass probably since I want everything to be clocked parallel to the frame so that it doesn't stick out toward the frame or the wheel. It looks like the third bypass will stick out to the side and I don't really want anything to count against the wheel clearance.

Well in that case I think you just need the heim joints at the top and bottom. I'm pretty sure the piggy back and bypasses should all fit since the shock leans back and inward a bit.

Here is the TC bracket setup.

The lower mount is welded to the axle behind the drum like on the second gens. It can be rotated higher or lower depending on how much stroke you need and how much ground clearance you are willing to go with. I just have it mocked up here with a zip tie.

Still? Maybe it is too large. I can see it on the PC but no on mobile.

Nice dust ring. My Dakars don't flex as good I guess. Was going to switch to the expos but ARB sent me new leaf springs so mybe next time. Think I'll put them in without the second overload leaf and see how they do.

    Lots of expensive shit
1st gens are tough, the shocks are different length side to side. I'm working on doing a under bed set up with some of these bypasses with the eye mount top cap.

Anyone running the coilovers on a 1st gen ? Looking for feedback on amount of lift , weight springs and also if running clickers ? Seriously considering these but don't see any listing for them on the web, I kno someone is running them on a 3rd gen 4Runner .

I don't have the clickers, and I'm not sure what weight the springs are. We just called the owner of ADS and told him what we had planned to do with the truck and things and sent us these. I had Toytec COs previously and while they did me well for years, these thing blow them out of the water as far as ride goes. Here's mine:

The tag of what I got:

You'll need UCAs too. My stock ones hit the coils at full droop.

I have about 2 inches of thread above and below the collar. I just left them as they came in the box which is 2.5". They ride so well I didn't want to mess with it lol I'm just a tiny bit low in the front.

Also here's a little test I did over a speed bump. My last setup the whole truck would raise with the bump. These ones are sweet because you can see how much they absorb the bump compared to my rear end (which is similar to how my front was). It's cool hearing them hiss over bumps too.

Those ADS coils have 650# springs. I had too much preload set on mine when I ordered them and had to back off an inch or so because it was too hard a ride. Once I get my plate bumpers and winch and odyssey battery bolted on I will try to set it back up an inch on preload.
