    Hello TW,
I'll try and keep this short. Graduated college last year until then I only had the time and money to make a mall crawler that did some light off roading. Now that I have a job I can get a little more serious and make a weekend warrior. First.....
How she looks as of 7/20/15:
    IMG_0935.jpg
    Truck:
    2009 Access Cab 4x4
    TRD Off Road
    Black

    Suspension:
    Toytec Spacer Lift
    Toytec AAL
    Diff. Drop

    Tires:
    BFG All Terrains

    Accessories:
    N Fab Nerf Bar
UWS Black Low Profile Tool Box
    AntennaX Offroad Antenna (13 in.)

The Plans (in this order.... maybe):
Pelfreybilt hybrid front bumper (on order)
    Rigid SR and Daullies (recieved)
Drop the N Fab Nerf Bars (Done)
Shrockworks Sliders (waiting to be put on)
    Icon Stage 3 (May Change)
    Wet Okole Camo Seat Covers
    Wheels and Tires
    Who freaking knows what else.

I won't lie this is going to take a little while. I am not swimming in money and I also have to feed other projects (wrecked 4 wheeler / brewing beer). I am doing this to mainly have a spot to ask and receive questions about anything.

I hate to break this awkward silence but I have a question

Right now for suspension I am looking at...

    Front:
    Icon 2.5 ET Coilovers Non-Resi
    Total Caos UCA

    Rear:
    Icon 2.0 RR
    Dakar Leaf Spring
    U-Bolt Flip
    Extended Brake Lines

My only concern is the springs on the front coilovers. I have a 100 lb bumper coming in, which will have a wench on it at some point, plus the Shrockwork Sliders and other armor at some point. Will the springs that come on the coilovers be able to handle this much weight? Should I upgrade to 700#?

Any other comments/concerns would be appreciated.

Some goodies have been arriving this last month...image.jpg
Started on the front suspension today. I got the front left on with out too much trouble...
    image.jpg
Then while assembling the UCA I must have turned the grease zerk one too many times and it snapped off.

Should I even try and fix it? I'm thinking of just JB welding it tomorrow and hope for the best.

Get an ez-out and remove the broken zero fitting, then install a new one. You've got a lot of nice parts for your truck, take the time to install them correctly.

    TADA!!!!

Thanks for the advice Jason I had to wait and do it this weekend because I was being rushed last weekend.

Hear is the rest of the build from that weekend.

Horn relocation I was able to use the existing screw and hole for the temp gauge.

    IMG_1304.jpg

    Painted the radiator.

    IMG_1306.jpg
Installed my pelfreybilt hybrid front bumper and my DIY satoshi grille!

    IMG_1308.jpg

Last but not least my shrockwork sliders and this is how she will sit for a little while.

I still need to do the wiring for the lights and someday winch. Thinking about going with a bussmann relay/fuse box and putting the switches on my sunglass holder. Let me know what you think of everything!

I'm in the same boat with the spring rate on my truck. I'm running the Icon coil overs with 650lb and an ARB bumper. The install on the bumper only increased the sag in the front suspension by 3/8". A quick adjustment on the preload and I was back to level. If I add a winch soon, I'll have to step up to the 700lb springs.

I went with the 700 lbs right off the bat I figured with a bumper, sliders, and a winch I would need it. It rides a lot better than when I had my toytec spacers but thats not saying much.

I can't say enough good things about the bumper and the company as a whole. They are good people. One tip on the install is if you need a front license plate make sure you install it onto the bumper before putting the bumper on the truck. I forgot all about it and had to take the bumper off to put it on.

That is something I need to do, but I keep forgetting. Thanks for the reminder.
