Need help with tires for my 1997 4x2, can only find a few MFG. that make the size I need.
Wondering if BF Goodrich T/A. would be ok, truck has 125k so I hope to run it for many more miles. Thanks for any advise.

What size are you looking for? Are you looking for a strictly street tire or more aggressive AT type?

Yea that really is a tough size... Not a whole lot of options for 14" wheels. If you were able to get ahold of some 15" Tacoma wheels it would open up your options. You could run a 215/65r15 and there are lots of good options in that size like the Michelin defenders, Goodyear assurances, Firestone FR710, or Pirelli P4. If you set on keeping the 14s it seems the BFGs are probably your best bet. I'd stay away from the Kumho Solus and Hankook Optimo

Your right it is a tuff size, I live in Wisconsin having a 4x2 my main concern is driving in snow. I also found A Cooper and Tiger Paw.
I was thinking the BF Goodrich would be better in the snow, what are your thoughts.
