Hey all, I'm about to order a 2.5x prism scope for my AR, but I'm concerned that the front sight post is going to be in the way. Can anyone take a picture through their scope at 2.5x so I can get an idea of how in focus the FSP will be at that magnification.

    Thank you!

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
People who run the 4x PA with A2 front sight post said it doesn't get in the way nor does it get blurry. I'm positive the 2.5x would yeild the same results.

Since you're talking about me, I might as well chime in ;). Go ahead and order your scope, your front sight will not interfere with it. Your eyes do amazing things. I swear I don't even see my fixed front sight when I use my Eotech. Then when I put up my rear aperture, I see it just fine. It's the damnedest thing.

Haha I did laugh when I saw who replied. Well seems like 2 for 2 saying it won't interfere. I'll go ahead and order!

I put an EoTech on a 14" with a fixed front. Didn't like it cause I could see the front sight, so I cut it off. If you do, the gas tube is located at the base of the fixed front so don't chop that. I can post pics if you want.

Yeah I'm always down for pics! I've been tossing around the idea of popping a new FSB on there but just havent gotten around to it. Honestly cutting my current FSB didn't even go through my mind. I'll see how I like the FSB with the scope and if its annoying the dremel just may come out. A new longer hand guard may be in order as well :D
