    My 1990 was great. Manual locking hubs, 5 speed, no power windows. Loved that truck. Head gasket cracked on it with no money to repair it. Wish I still had it, but I would still need more room to cart 2 creatures along now.
    I do like the look of the older models. I guess I am old fashioned :oops:.

    What ever is the newest is usually the best. So, each year was the best in its respected year.

    My 2015 was the best Tacoma I could buy in April of 2015. The new Tacoma gen3 is likely the best available today.

    I will take the Back to the Future pickup over all other years. Will last just as long as any new Tacoma and still just as high tech really.

    Wish I would have picked up a solid axle 85 when they were still cheap and before the kids effed 'em all up.

    If you can find one now that is stock and well maintained it will cost you well over $5K, but I think worth it. Such a solid built machine. I'm always looking for another.
