    The stock proprietary rails are rather limited. Personally, I would go with L-track. Its available from many sources, has standardized fittings, and is far more useful. I have even considered tossing my stock stuff and replacing it. http://www.uscargocontrol.com/Ratchet-Straps-Tie-Downs/Airline-Straps-Hardware

    Edit - The exception would be if you plan to install something specifically designed for the stock rails like a tonneau cover.
