Will TRD center caps fit my stock wheels?

Lifted 2006 Tacoma V6 Crew Cab TRD

No mods as of yet other than the fact that it is lifted. I just purchased the vehicle, so I am eager to see what everyone is doing with their rigs!

I was thinking of painting my stock wheels gloss black, and then changing my center caps to the TRD caps (until I can afford to buy new rims). I was told that they wouldn't fit... Can adjustments be made to them so that they will work? Let me know if you've tried this. Thanks!
