    I have a 2004 V6 PreRunner
I have looked every where and I know that Tacoma has a "special" fluid that they want you to use. I only put Mobile 1 in my truck, its a family thing don't ask. Can I use Mobiles XMSN fluid in my Tacoma? Thanks in advance to any comments.

as long as it meets or exceed Toyota trans spec (dexron 3) I don't see why not.
From there site Mobiles XMSN fluid
"Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF is a multi-vehicle formula recommended for use in modern high performance automobiles, SUV's, SUT's, vans and other light trucks.
It is recommended by ExxonMobil for use in applications requiring DEXRON® III, Ford MERCON® and MERCON® V performance levels. Meets or exceeds the off-highway power transmission requirements of Allison C-4. Recommended by ExxonMobil for use in any power steering unit where a DEXRON® or MERCON® fluid is recommended."

    Thanks 00yotasr5
I looked at that too, just a doubt I have I guess. Toyota is so freakn particular about the XMSN fluid being theirs, probably just so they can make more money. I will change it using Mobile 1 and see what happens. Thanks again for the response.
