Automatic Transmission-Like New - 10K Miles $600 -NE Florida

Took this new tranny out of a 2003 Tacoma 2WD that had a blown 2.4L engine only 10K miles on the transmission. AAMCO charged $3500 for this rebuild. (Can you say RIP OFF?) I have the receipts attached and can show you the current mileage on the truck. $600 firm

Man I would take it if I was still in Brooksville. I've been wanting to pick up a spare tranny and have a level 10 rebuild done on it so I don't have to take my DD down.

Edit: a question though. Why does it look like the starter is on the drivers side? is the photo reversed or is that something else?

 

Maybe the 4cyl tranny is on the driver side .

You can read the text on the tranny just fine.

 

The cost of that rebuild was just a tad high lol . Shoulda gave you lifetime warranty for that price

 

@alphabravo sorry I didn't see your edit question...system doesn't seem to notify email for edits...I really don't know the answer to that question...we took the whole blown engine out with the good tranny and replaced it with another engine tranny combo we bought off a wrecked taco...didn't want to separate them We picked up this truck cheap due to the blown engine. Can't believe the poor woman was so badly ripped off from AAMCO..but they do that everyday to people. This is a great deal for someone who needs this specific transmission.
