Trying to decide on which to get. Just ordered the Icon 1.5 Progressive Leaf Pack, Icon 2.0 Rear Shocks. 3 degree shims, and OME carrier bearing drop kit, and OME 887's assembled on 5100's. Strictly a Mall Krawler driving in the City/Highway. Last set of SPC Light Racing UCA's I had didn't go well, and yes they had the new Specride Bushings. But I ended up getting a crack in mine near where the long bolt goes through. But 375.00 shipped compared to almost 600 shipped. Thoughts????

sounds like the LR's were installed incorrectly with washers on the inside of the bushings causing the crack.

dont the camburgs use stock ball joints.... so you get no extra flex, and the upper ball joint is pretty much the first limiting factory in suspension travel.

Camburg's are pretty but aren't worth the price difference IMO

The new Camburg ball-joint UCAs come with MOOG ball-joints pre-installed.

Its a better option to get alignment in spec and Uniballs are not good up here in the NE with the salt and winters. If you aren't planning to flex, lift your truck and want to get numbers back to stock its a better option than LR.

I'm in the same boat, but I have myself half talked into Camburg Uniballs and the other part of my brain keeps screaming for LR UCA's.

I think if I have the money I'll go with the Camburgs. You can't find anyone that has issues with them other than the odd moog complaint.

I wonder how many degrees of flex the MOOG balljoint has.... FYI the LR balljoint has 82* of movement

Ive had my LR UCAS for about 2 months now, paid 375 and i have zero complaints... i think people get wrapped around the idea of brand here too much. I didnt have any problems following the directions for installing nor alignment issues.. Besides you arent even going to wheel so whats the point in getting UCAs for over 200$ more that you wont ever push them to their use when the LR UCA's will do the same job..

Yes, please elaborate. I'm about to pull the trigger on a set of these. What is the issue with MOOG?

I can't find it quick but a few members here I've talked to mentioned that moogs quality is not what it once was when Camburg arms come up. I wouldn't worry about it because I'm not getting that feedback from sellers who would be the first to know if that was a major issue. I think the problem is that the moog design is not quite as strong as a 1" uniball so when people have issues they blame moog when they really should blame the ball joint design.
