I came across one of these remote switches and have (4) leds i want to install in the front and rear that i can turn on even the ignition is off.

The LED's are 27watt each so i calculated 2.25amps per led or max 4.5amps per pair.

The wireless switches are rated for 10amps so i wanted to ask the electrical gurus on here if i still needed a relay for this to work.

I also didn't find any information on why wiring them to have power without the ignition is bad except that it will drain your battery. Led's are either on or off so with a good ground, i don't see how that can happen.

Thanks in advance for any input.
