Looking for upgrade ideas for the truck. Looks like the wife has made her mind about me keeping the truck instead of upgrading to the 4door for the kid. So I'm open to ideas I.e. lift tires rims etc... what I currently have: bed lights uhwms with badlands 12000# winch and wireless remote. As far as lift goes I would like to not have to cut and weld would like 4" and 33" tires. So with that said boys and girls lay it on me. Budget isn't a issue

There's a whole forum of ideas.

You should look around a bit more and see what you like, I don't see much point in having others tell you what they like. Browsing can't be that difficult to do, can it?

Spend an hour in the Builds subforum. Spend an hour in the Suspension subforum. Put in a little effort.

Different regions have different needs. But if that's what you want, starting it upstate NY and going clockwise around the US.

    Snow plow.
    Mud tires.
    Fishing pole holders.
    Long travel.
    Camper shell.

No, you going clockwise are long travel. I got hit with shell. I am not a shell fan! But with the rain they can be useful.

OP I have some links in my sig for what I've done for ideas. But no one can tell you what mods are right for you.

So you made me curious - what's your plan for the kiddo? Just to use another vehicle to transport? A carseat is tight even in my DC - there's no way it's possible in an AC.

That being said, I'm more of a practical guy. With a new family, I'd start thinking about cargo options to carry around stroller, supplies, etc. - you know, baby things! But that's me being my silly practical self.

You are gonna wish you had 4 doors every time you get the kid/kids in and out. You don't have to have them, but its a major convenience.

You can call it whipped if you want but have two zero balance due vehicles and no real need to start a new loan when her vehicle works for what we would need. Didnt list it in op bit I already have the cap I was against it at first because I've never had one but moving feom nc to ny it was a great help. It does makes sence for me not to get a new truck.

Its paid off, so that's just being smart with your money. If you can get by with it, it's saving you more money the longer you keep it.

Mine is paid off, and we have a little left on the wife's Dodge then I am going to attack the mortgage hard and eliminate all my debt in the next 3 years. At least that's the plan.
