    Hi Folks

Well I have just purchased my first Tacoma 2013 Limited model 4 door.
So far a great truck well maintianed by previous owner oil changes , service as warranty required .
My only dislike so far is the 2 part key system door opener , and separate staring key .
Is it possible to get a combined key and door opener ?

Why not stash the fob somewhere outside the truck and just use the key for the door and ignition. That's what I did incase I lock the keys in the truck

Are you talking about the key fob, or do you have 2 actual different keys - one for door and another for steering column? Have seen this on some used vehicles where the door lock cylinder was replaced and they did not re-key the new door cylinder.

I have a key fob with door operation and a key for ignition just find it is bulky to have both on a key ring as i also have 2 other automotive keys with controls for both.

Like I said.. see my link. Assume you're dropping $100 minimum for the convenience of not having a separate fob.
