As the title says, does anyone know if the TRD blower will be redesigned and available for the new 3.5?

Doubt it! TRD has discontinued the program IIRC.

    Don't the 3rd gen's Blow enough?:stirthepot:
All kidding aside. They discontinued supercharger support across all models this year.
Maybe an aftermarket will step in though

Yes. My friend in Japan says they are working on it. Ask me in 2018 when they say it will be ready. Want his phone number?

Sure it is..... Really. And does it matter? Maybe check your sources, it can be made in 'MERICA, go Donald. The engineers in charge? Sushi eaters.

As to what I was told at Toyota school a few weeks ago, the TRD supercharger program is completely dead. However, they did mention that in the next couple years the newish 3.5 will see duty in the Tundra, with a turbo hanging from each side. Think Toyota's version of Ford's Eco-boost. In 7 or so years of going to Toyota tech classes at our district office, they haven't given out bad info yet. If this is true, I'm very much hoping for a twin turbo TRD PRO. That I would actually consider paying $40k for.

I'm wondering if cost will go down at all, since there shouldn't be the typical dealership price gauging.

I'm more curious about adding a blower that doesn't void the factory warranty...

Maybe up..... Won't they have to retool SOME in order to delete the TRD embossing?
