Installing an AAL waiting for Toyota recall?

    So I got the letter from toyota talking about the rear leaf builtin and they are waiting for parts blah blah. How ever I really want to install the icon AAL soon, like in a week or so. My question, does any know if it will "void" my ability to get this "recall" done? I called my local dealer and they couldn't give me a answer.
