Has anyone removed the headrests in the "backseat" of the access cab yet? It seems like they are in the way, blocking vision. I don't anticipate putting people in the back and think it would be a lot cleaner look with them out. Has anyone else done this? What are your thoughts?

I took mine out in my 2015 DC ( I know this is 3rd gen forum), but I threw them in the storage behind the seat in case of passengers...Never bothered me too much except at night a tad until I took them out

I was looking at mine this morning, and it's not like you can press a button that releases the rails so that they can slide out. There is no button. I'm guessing that you have to remove the plastic molding piece and look inside for a way to release the rails. Please let us know if you figure it out.

I removed the passenger side one on mine. Had to pry back some plastic and wriggle around with a wrench. PITA, so I skipped the other one.

It appears you may be able to do what Bman4x5 did, which is a PITA. The other, probably most proper way to do it, looks like you have to take the whole back plastic piece off to get access to the bolts that hold the headrest in place. The metal bracket that holds the headrest integrated into the child seat restraint system, which makes it even more of a PITA! Looks like my headrests are staying in place...for now!
