those with a 1st gen tacoma know the radio is low in the dash, and not ideal if you have a screen. Do any of yall know of a thread, link or write up on what it would take to move the a/c controls to the bottom and move the radio up to the top for slightly better viewing?

no kidding, on my new stereo (single din) the view cuts off the top part of the text.

not sure how you could relocate.

im picking up my truck tomorrow morning and since i work at a car stereo shop ill have some time to tear down the dash a bit and get the lead installer/custom builders to give their input as well.
i dont think finding a way to mount it will be an issue, i think the time consuiming part will be getting the dash trim radio bezel the right size so that it doesnt cover up the a/c controls since its more narrow towards the bottom.
