I have Bilstein 5100s on all 4 corners and added a leaf to my leaf pack. got the front set at 1.75.
I did nothing else. just installed, got an alignment and go. The ride quality is awesome. I'm running 265-75-16s. I may consider 285s and upping the front once these tires are gone.
I would highly recommend this set up for someone that still uses the truck for a DD. Pretty affordable too.

I was really interested in the TOYTEC BOSS lift. 3" and looked solid. I love the brodozer of a daily driver so I did a 6" BDS and went all out. If I didn't get sucked in by the FOX sticker and the look of 35s I woulda went with the BOSS. They have one called ultimate as well. If youre like me and want it in a package, that seemed like a good kit

I had a 2.5" Toytec lift on my 2010 DCSB and I could NEVER the alignment right even thought Toytec told me I would not need UCAs. I bought SPC UCA from Toytec and that resolved my problem. I then went to a 3" lift kit and still worked great!

stock is 265/65R17 or 265/70R16. both are roughly 31" tall

there is also 265/70R17 or 265/75R16. These would both be roughly 32" tall. Most say you can fit these without any lift.

It's when you go to a 33" tall tire that you start to need lift to clear. It has more to do with tire width and wheel backspacing than tire height for clearance.

Of course 35" and up is a different story.

My point is, you can stick with a 265 width and get a little large aspect ratio (larger sidewall) to fill the wheel well a little more.

265 or 285 is the width in mm of the tire.

65 or 70 or 75 is the aspect ratio. It's a measurement of sidewall height based percentage of the tire width. So 265/70 means 70% of 265 is the sidewall height in mm.

R16 or R17 is the wheel diameter in inches.
