I have a 1996 2.7L 4x4 Ext Cab Tacoma and am looking for an inexpensive set of wheels for designated snow tires. It seems like the model years with ABS brakes (not my '96) have trouble finding wheels that have sufficient clearance. Does anyone have a set of steel wheels that you could recommend to me? The truck has 15" diameter wheels now, no lift.

    Thanks,

    Jared

I run wheels from a 2004 tacoma they are 16 inch they clear everything perfectly ..I'm running the takeoff grandtek tires that came on them I've never driven in snow so I can't recommend a good snow tire

I see them on Craigslist with center caps for about 100$ a set with bad tires

Wheelers Offroad used to carry steel wheels for our trucks that would clear but I can't find them on their site anymore. Maybe call or email them and ask?

I have rims from Wheeler's. They are great and hopefully they are still for sale.
