I have a 2008 Tacomawith 43000 miles on it. hi beams blew and my radio went as well. I checked all the fuses and I have power to them. I have no power going to the radio. is it a really I could have trouble with.? I pulled my radio out but I can't see any bad wires. does that set of wires disconnect from the wiring harness in a 3 clip set? Does that make any sense?.

Check the 10 Ampere Radio # 1 Fuse and the 7.5 ampere ACC Fuse.

The headlight circuit is not tied to the radio circuit.

No relays in the Stereo Circuit.

I replace my headlight bulbs. so those are fine now. my radio will not turn on need everything in my cab works. I have power to all my fuses they all seem fine. I checked the connections to the stereo and I have no power coming in. do those three wires have a quick disconext so I can just change the whole cluster?and would I need to take the dash apart more?I should also say my battery died and I tried jumping it with a battery charger too many amps I'm a little confused. I'm trying not to take it to the dealership because they will charge me a year's salary to fix it

Check the fuses with a Multimeter set to read Ohms. You cannot tell just by looking.

Check the fuse from terminal to terminal, it should read very near 0.0 Ohms depending on the accuracy of the meter.

If it reads a high reading or OL it is blown, replace it with the same amperage.
