Because it's a new truck? I don't know about you, but I would get it replaced to be done with it. Less hassle/work on my part. :p

Kevlar is in the sidewall, not the tread. Besides, you had a fucking ninja star stuck in your tire.

My labor is free. Or have one of the lube guys do it. I'm out $0 to use parts that are already on the truck

Exactly. I asked DT to pull the spare and mount it in place of the bad tire. I just picked up the spare, mounted with a new tire. $92 for this fix after prorating. They also offered a road hazard warranty (as noted above) for $26/tire. Good company to work with...

No complaints about the tires, just weird that I had to replace a tire so soon into ownership. I don't think I have ever had to 'replace' a tire due to damage... Yeah, I drive wimpy.

Funny... I do see a note on the tire that notes it is "Kevlar reinforced". Mostly marketing in my opinion. I don't climb rocks or jump stumps, so they should be fine for me.

Here's the nija star out of the tire...

You going to pay to switch the spare over to the wheel? At that point you might as well purchase a new wheel and not have to buy another spare. Making a simple purchase difficult. If you spend 40k on a truck, $100-200 more isn't going to hurt you.

Looks like a disposable utility knife blade. You can see the notches on the top. Pretty weak tire for that to puncture it.

Really this is giving you a reason to upgrade and ditch those tires.

That must be awesome. I would too if that was the case, but the majority of us don't have "free" access to those machines. :pout:

Did the tire just happened go flat as you were driving by a Discount Tire? Tell me you didn't drive it there like that

I guess reading the actual tire description is beyond most millennials.
