Been poking around trying to find an answer, maybe someone knows off the top of their head.

Driver side LED tail light (running light) not working. Every other light on the truck works perfectly, including driver side brake light. Checked fuse, even ordered a new light assembly and still not working.

Bad relay (where is that located)? Bad connection at tail light assembly (pins)? Wires/splice issue?

Thank TW, good people. Let me know what questions I can answer. Seems like a simple fix, if I were able to locate the problem.

First I would double check that the connector hasnt come loose at that light.

If that doesnt work then test the connector that feeds that light. Use a simple volt meter and check that you're getting about 12 volts.

If your getting voltage across the positive and negative leads then the light is bad. If you don't get voltage on both leads but get voltage from the hot lead to a ground on the truck, then you have a bad ground. If you cant get any voltage then you have an issue with power getting to the light.

To answer this question it's not common. I don't believe I've even read about anyone having issues with them on here.

Yeah I was looking for a while and figured I'd just go ahead and ask. I have a family member who works for a yota dealership and at the very least I'll take it to him and get it fixed at cost. I'll let you know what the prob is when it is fixed to help others.
