Unless you have a base model you will have alloy wheels. Mounting a cheap steel wheel like those will be a downgrade. The heavier wheel will affect performance and MPGs. Not to mention be less durable and prone to rust. I'd look for a light alloy wheel, though it could be challenging to get one at your price point.

OEM alloy wheels of craigslist may be one way to go, that is how I got mine. What wheels do you have currently?

Both these are pretty light, the other ones are 22lbs. So whichever you like best, both are far better than the steelies you listed in the OP.

Actually, I'd probably go with the MBs, they are 8" wide vs 8.5. At -6 offset they will stick out past the flare, the 8" wide will stick out 1/4" less. Anything over 8" is pretty wide for a wheel on out trucks anyway.

I do not. At those prices they are likely made in China.

I just took off my OEM Off-Road wheels which I had plastidipped black:

    Replaced with Method NV:

Thing is because the OEM wheels were Alloy the Methods are actually sightly heavier. But they are also an inch wider.

If you'd like the Toyota wheels I took off I'd love to sell them. You can peel the plastidip off.

The Method have a 4.25" offset which makes them stick out. Plus the 8" wheel size. Here is a before after to give you an idea as to what others are talking about.

The offset looks i think gives it a little bit of a different stance.

Would steel rims vs alloy make a big difference in mpg i drive alot for work(construction) want the best mpg i can get.

You drivetrain turns the wheel. The heavier the wheel the more force needed to turn it. The factory alloys I think are 22-24lbs each.

Best mpg will be light alloys and light tires.

Example: stock TRD alloy is 23lbs. A steelie my be 33lbs. Multiply that by 4 wheels and you have added 40lbs of rotating weight to your wheels. (Think of attaching a 45lb plate weight from the gym to your wheel).

Rotating weight = 4x static weight.

40lbs x 4 = 160lbs static weight added to your truck. Basically equal to a plate bumper and some light sliders.

It won't be huge but it will drop.
