Does anyone happen to have experience, or know someone who does, with these mounts? The price looks attractive, and I like the look of them. The only thing that slightly concerns me is the use of rivets to attach it to the rack. I've really been wanting a roof mounted LED bar to be paired with my bumper mounted one, but with the OEM roof rack, options are pretty rare.

I just ordered one online from rough country.. I bought the light as well but it's out of stock so it's holding up the whole order. I'll let you know what I think after I've installed it. Hopefully soon...

I have no regrets ordering my mounts from rough country. I did have to go to harbor freight to buy the right rivet gun to use with the rivets that were supplied. But all in all extremely happy with my purchase.

Does the light bother you in the cab or reflect and get in your eyes from the hood?

Honestly the only part that bugged me was the nasty wind howl and vibration. But I used some of that rubber weather strip stuff behind the light bar and it calmed it down. I don't have any reflection off my hood, I feel like that has more to do with the color of the truck.

Does the light bar sit above the level of the rack?

To my eye it sits level if not slightly above the roof rack.

Ha, it was over a month and a half before there was a response to the OP. If it is rough country, it gotta be the best

I know this says it's for a curved but has anyone ever tried to use this mount with a 40 inch straight bar?

I got a straight light bar and there is legitimately not one company who makes a oem roof rack mount for a straight light bar

They finally arrived. Shipping said that it would take till April 22 to arrive but hey I'll take 2 weeks. The brackets look exactly like the ones from rough country. Will be installing this once I get my aux fuse block installed. Probably next week.

Get curved. I have curved. I don't think it fits 40 inch straight.

I have this same set up as you. The vibration at freeway speeds here in Oregon 65 mph is pretty unbearable at times. If you want a quiet cab def don't get this light bar. Trust me.

Nice! I know those are better designed to alleviate wind noise. I have the RC chrome 40 inch curved. How's the wind noise with yours?
