Looking for tire sizes that wont rub after I install my Toytec 3in lift, I heard you can run 285s on 18s without any issues but I wanted to double check.

285s will likely still rub. 265s in 32" size are generally considered as large as you can go without rubbing issues. Look up the 'cab mount chop' for what is needed for no rubbing. I'd also suggest stepping down to 17s for better tire selection and more tire sidewall for off road use.

I appreciate the info, I cant step down the wheel size right now but if I can grab some cheap 16" steelies, I will go that route. I am assuming 16s would also have a decent selection.

Yes they will likely have more selection, however steelies are a downgrade. They will be much heavier and not as durable while also prone to rusting. If going that route you may look for some TRD off road wheel take offs, which are cheap 2nd hand and very light at 23lbs.

Ah, I didn't even think of that. I will look into that but I believe I would need to pick up some off of a pre-runner since I am a 5 lug.

That will depend on the sidewalk height. If you go low enough profile they will fit, but for an OR tire you'll need some choping and pounding with a BFH.

If you can weld I'd do a CMC and fix the pinch weld.

Not sure how accurate my comments above are based on this.
