I've got a 14 2wd trd dbl cab pre runner and I was wondering if a CAI is worth it? Or just a headache when I gotta get a smog. Thanks

    No.

Factory intake is a cold air system.

Aftermarket CAI just makes noise and costs money and uses subpar filters compared to OEM.

    ^^ This ^^

Unless you have a S/C installed a CAI (which was mentioned you essentially do have one from the factory) you will get no "noticeable" gains in performance / MPG. Spend your money on something else on your truck unless you just really want one. They do "look" cool but that's about it.

No joke, any of these family haulers (odyssey, sienna, T&C) will beat me on the on-ramp with me going WOT.
