80 percent of the world gets the Hilux, we get the Tacoma, along with Canada and Mexico? Which front end do you like the most?

With 80% of the world having access to Hilux, I wonder what the total global sales is between both models.

I think the Hilux sells about .5 million units per year

I'm from New Zealand, Hilux country since i was a boy. Grew up with ads like these

But tbh, the Tacoma is waaaaaay more appealing compared to the modern day hiluxes.

The HiLux looks like a "big ute" or "crossover sport utility truck" or something. I'm not a fan.

Granted, the Tacoma looks like a filter-feeding marine mammal in the front. I guess they were going for aggressive, like a shark. That would explain the antenna-fin. But they wound up with a whale-mouth made for filter-feeding on krill :p

Between the two of them, I'd take the Tacoma.

The HIlux will go where the where the Tacoma might not want to venture but given most of us who drive Tacomas seldom need the Off Road abilities the truck brings with it, what does it matter.

If we had summer all year I would not consider a Tacoma but for four months of the year at least the Tacoma brings it.

Why are all the GMC Canyon fanboys posting their problems here???!!

If you have a concern or problems with your GMC Canyon don't post it here. This is a 3rd Gen section.
