What size clamps for driveshaft slip yoke boot?

    Just as the title states.. I want to order a few to keep in my tool box when I occasionally lube the driveshaft slip yokes front and rear. Thanks!

    zip ties.

    Though most oetiker clamps usually say their size on them, have a look at the OEM clamps and see if they say their size (usually in milimeters, id imagine around 50-60mm is the size of those things)

    yeah, realistically you only need to undo one side of the slip yoke to grease it and it should always been in some sort of compression so it shouldnt slip off, the clamps are just to keep the dust out.

    No need to grease then, they are a sealed unit

    Umm.... no.

    The factory supplied grease will dry out / get contaminated over time... there is a reason why older trucks (1st n 2nd gens) have the "clunk when comming to a stop / taking off from a stop" this is due to a non lubed slip joint.

    Then there should be a zerk included to lube them if that were the case. My 4Runner driveshafts all have zerks for the slip and ujoints.
