I'm Soo fustrated !!! My oem back up camera has been going in and out now for a few months. Now it just doesn't work anymore !!! Only the blue screen will appear. I cleaned the connector and sprayed some electronics spray in it and still nothing. Truck is out of warranty. Anybody know how to fix it or what I need to buy to make it work again. I can't believe I have relied on this for so long and now it sucks backing up. I know I'm gonna back into something. Lol.

This happened to me a couple months ago. Mine's an 09 and a manual so not sure if it'll be the same on yours, but it ended up being the backup switch that screws directly into the passenger side of my transmission. Replaced it for $18 and it has worked perfectly since. The way I diagnosed it as the switch was noticing that my reverse lights were going out along with the backup display.
