This is the back of a 2013 touch screen without nav and without JBL. Can someone identify the purpose of the top port first from the left? What's it's purpose? Has 16 pins total.

In all the pics I have looked at, I havent seen that connector used. I'm curious to know though. That radio is the base Entune radio right? I just installed the Entune Premium (no NAV or JBL) in my 2007 and it has several more plugs than that one shown.

It's the base radio without entune. I did some research and I know that some of the terminals, I believe four, are used for the back up camera. My other guess on the remaining terminals would be the factory overhead mic.

Those pins are way to small to feed the flux capacitor man!

For real. The 1.21 jigawatts would never flow through those small pins. I believe it's the communication port for the mr fusion add on.

    Amazed at your brilliance!

I did some digging and discovered 4 of the 16 pins are used for the back up camera. If anyone else has some info on the other 12 pins that would be great.
