I ran Seafoam through the vacuum and expected to see a ton of smoke come out the exhaust, but I got nothing. Any reason why?

Which line? The manifold PCV hose will only get it in the rear two cylinders. The brake booster will only get it in one or two cylinders.

You need to use a ported vacuum line at or before the throttle body and leave it in for at least an hour to get the desired effect.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I put it through the brake booster, I may try again some day. I read your P0420 link, good info. That is actually the problem I'm having now. I've tried a bunch of things(change spark plugs, new pvc valve, cleaned MAS, Cataclean, CRC Guaranteed to Pass, new O2/Air Fuel sensor, changed exhaust gaskets, new gas cap, fuel trims seem fine) to see if it really is the cat or some other problem. I'm beginning to think it really is the cat. I'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow to have them do some diagnostics on it to see if they can tell me anything. If you have any suggestions on what I should ask about, I would appreciate them.

Will Seafoam cause pending misfire codes to appear? And can it take two weeks for a drive cycle to happen? I've driven in all types of conditions and it still has gone through one.
