    Hi there,

Brand new member here, just got a great deal on a brand new 2015 4x4 TRD sport DC, and I'm real fired up. I'm looking to add a suspension lift with the intention of eventually running 31"-33" tires.

My last ride was a '98 Cherokee and I installed a Rough Country 3" susp. lift fairly easily, and was very happy with the results. That lift included new control arms, coil springs, rear add-a-leafs etc. I've been eyeing the rough country kit for tacomas and it seems way more basic:

It's nice and cheap which I like, and I trust Rough Country in terms of quality, but I want to know what this forum thinks of this kit, has anyone installed it themselves and/or currently running it? And how does it compare to other lifts you've installed/run?

Will 3" (compared to 2" or 1.5") significantly increase my chances of screwing something up in the driveshaft, steering rack, changing angles etc?

For the price, does this kit offer good value compared to other kits (OME, Bilstein etc) ?

The new tires aren`t in the plans for a while, will running this lift on 265/65r17 tires look goofy?

Thanks for the input. Stoked to be here!
