I am interested in trying to give my taillights the smoked dark look and was wondering what others thought on here about doing it yourself vs just purchasing some? How easy is it, and does anyone have any recommendations or ones they have purchased themselves, or videos/ step-by-step directions for DIY that they found useful?

    Thanks for your help!

My best suggestion, would be to use a lightly tinted vinyl film, if you really want to do it. Others are gonna hate. But a light tint would be ok. I wouldn't do the spray on crap though. Film will look better and last longer. And you can easily remove it if you don't want it anymore.
