    Your ride shouldn't be horrible on a stock suspension. Tacomas are sprung soft from the factory.

    Things I'd check:

    1. Tire pressure - if it's at max, lower it down 5-10 psi
    2. Shackle bolts - Make sure that they're lubed and not over-torqued
    3. Spring bushings - goes with shackle bolts... make sure you have lube in between the bolt and the bushing so they don't seize together.
